Description
This T1MA Troubadour is a parlor size acoustic guitar made with flamed merenti (mahogany) and distressed Adirondack spruce. It is a pre-owned instrument that has all the maintenance and repairs needed and it’s in great condition. I repaired some top cracks and touched up the finish and refretted with Dunlop 6105 (medium width, tall height). Currently, it is strung with very light nickel steel strings. Songwriter/Producer Phil Sloane (Secret Agent Man, Eve of Destruction) recommended it during a backstage sales call. The nickel strings provide a warm clarity that matches the tonewoods. Also, the guitar transitions from finger picking to rock or blues really well.
I made a few of these as the A.Davis shop was closing and they are all outstanding guitars. The T1MA troubadour is great for curling up on the couch with or taking it on the road. The small size is perfect for travel and it punches over it’s weight when it comes out of the case. The owner is selling this one because he has a number of A.Davis Guitars and this is just one too many. I’m pretty sure this is the only one that will be on the market for this kind of price. Get this fun machine while you can!
